Abdullah Al Shaheen Al Rabeea
Abdullah is a private equity professional with over 22 years working experience in senior management positions. Currently he is the Group Vice Chairman and Managing Director of State Holding (Qatar) and Sr. Managing Partner of FEP Group (Bahrain). He is Chairman of Injazat Invest North Africa S.A and Oryx BMNA (Morocco).
He is also the Board member of Egyptian Steel. Prior to this he was CEO of an investment company in Kuwait and earlier to the he headed the Direct Investments Department in the Industrial Bank of Kuwait.
He has been instrumental in structuring various private equity funds, raising debt and equity, originating, negotiating and closing deals, risk mitigation and several corporate advisory engagements. He has a BA in Accountancy, Kuwait University and is a certified Public Accountant from the Ministry of Commerce, Kuwait.

Dr. Ahmed was an investment and finance professor at the College of Commerce, Cairo University, then Deputy Chairman of Capital Market Authority, after that Authority Chairman.
He served on the board of several governmental institutions and entities including CBE, Money Laundering Combating Unit, the Egyptian General Authority for Monitoring Insurance, Capital Market Authority, EGX, Investment Risk Guarantee Fund, Settlement Guarantee Fund, Mortgage Finance Support & Guarantee Fund.
He contributed to the development of the Egyptian capital market since 1999 till 2011.
Dr. Ahmed was a board member in different holding companies including Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries and Holding Company for Airports.
He also wrote many books in the field of investment and finance including Financial Lease, Scientific Principles for Finance, Investment Strategies and Policies, as well as advanced studies in finance, investment and white-collar crimes in stock exchanges and capital markets.
Omar El Maghawry
Chief Executive Officer
Maghawry is currently holding the position of General Manager to the FEP office in Egypt, and Deputy CEO of FEP group. Prior to joining FEP, Omar brings 16 years of experience mostly concentrated in the private equity (PE) industry.
He was the Investment Manager and Investment Committee Member of Bedaya private equity fund; the first sovereign private equity fund in Egypt focusing on investing in SMEs. Bedaya is a 10 years closed-ended Egypt based and regulated EGP134M fund. Maghawry is, moreover, a founding member of the Egyptian Private Equity Association (EPEA).
Maghawry has hands-on experience in many aspects of the PE value chain; fund raising, investing, post-acquisition management, and exits. He has served in many senior positions in reputable corporations in the region, namely as VP of Abraaj Capital, Head of Business Development of Barclays Bank, and Director of Private Equity in CFH.
Maghawry graduated from the faculty of commerce, Ain Shams University in 2001. He has completed his MBA in 2001.
Sh. Abdulla has extensive experience in managing, developing and setting up industrial production facilities in the building material domain. Sh. Abdulla serves as Deputy Chairman of Oryx Industries (UAE). He is a non-executive Board member in FEP Group (Bahrain).
He is a key participant in the formulation of the corporate vision and values and setting of the corporate performance goals that are aligned with the directives of the shareholders. Sh. Abdulla holds BA from Ajman University.
Essam has over 27 years of finance and investment banking experience across diverse sectors in MENA region. He is currently the Group CEO of State Holding (Qatar), Managing Partner of FEP Group (Bahrain), and Board member of Egyptian Steel. He was previously with an investment group in Kuwait and prior to that with Industrial Bank of Kuwait as Head of Corporate Finance.
His experience includes acquisition, post investment management and successful exit of various private equity deals. He has been actively involved from the pre-feasibility stage through growth and expansion for various investments covering building material, manufacturing, natural resources, energy, food & beverage, healthcare, real estate and financial services. He has a BSc in Commerce and Accountancy from Kuwait University.
Mr. Al Maskati brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development and private equity in the GCC region. He was a co-founder of three leading real estate development companies in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
He was instrumental in listing Bahrain’s first real estate company on the local stock exchange with a parallel listing in Kuwait. Mr. Al Maskati established a mortgage finance company in Bahrain and setup an asset management firm licensed by the Capital Markets Authority in Saudi Arabia.
He has managed both sell-side and buy-side mandates in several sectors such as hospitality and leisure, information technology, education and consumer products. He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, USA.

Ziad is the founder of ALZWAD for Mobile Services (ZMS) , Handmade Studios, Soutak.com, Kareerak.com, Reach 2.0 and Integrated Payment Services.
Ziad is also the Founder of MASRENA NGO and the Freedom Bus & #Z100Days Initiatives concerned with Building New Egypt.
Ziad also holds the position of Board Member at The Chamber of Information Technology & Communication Industry and The Federation of Egyptian Industries Small Enterprise Committee as well as a Board Member of the Bedaya Fund for Small & Medium Enterprise. He is also a Board of Trustees member of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
He received a B.A. from the American University in Cairo and has had Leadership training from IMD, Harvard Business School.
